Our Mission, Our Vision, and What We Do

We wish to uphold the traditions and history set in place by our ancestors.

 

Our Mission

is to be a Nation respected by others and to do no wrong by others, while protecting our culture and heritage.

What We’ve Achieved

  • We filed to be federally recognized in 1996.

  • We’ve held a 501C3 non-profit since 1995.

  • Our name is trademarked.

  • We’ve been featured on the TV show History Detectives.

  • We were featured in the documentary, “They May Be Saints,” by the Catholic Church.

  • We have done countless work with artifacts, historians, anthropologists, and genealogists.

  • We are working with government officials to have Apalachee remains reinterred.

  • We were instrumental in the Native American scholarship program in the state of Louisiana and we are the only non-federally and non-state recognized tribe allowed to participate.
