Apalachee Video Game (2025)

We are proud to announce the completion of a project on which we have been working for several years. Our tribe has been working with PBS, WNET, MissionUs, and Electric Fun Stuff on an educational computer game that features the Apalachee Indians. This game is designed to be used by teachers in the classroom. Tribal citizens worked with Second Chief, Charissa Inabnet, who worked closely with the creators of this interactive game. The game teaches important lessons about archaeology, anthropology, culture, and history through interactive mini games.

NSU Folk Festival— July 2025

We were honored to attend the Folk Festival at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana this summer. We accepted donations for our arts and crafts and were able to pass out lots of literature about our history and culture, including the beatification and canonization of our Apalachee ancestor, Antonio Inija.
